Reflections Evening of the Arts "Wow!"

The Clover Park PTA Council invites you and your family to

“An Evening of Art, Wow!”

On Tuesday, January 27th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm

At Lakes High School in the Commons area, by the main entrance
Visual art, photography and literature entries from Clover Park students participating in the 2008-2009 PTA Reflections Program will be on display. This event is designed for you to be able to view this year’s entries, see which entries won awards at the council level and which entries are moving on to the state level. You may come any time during the two hours this event is open to the public. Awards will not be handed out at this event. Certificates and ribbons awarded at council level will be handed out by the Reflections chairperson at the students’ schools some time following this event.
This is a great family event to recognize all of the student's work and inspire them for next year's program. Hope to see you there!

Welcome 2009

We are so glad tobe back to school and to see all the bright and shiny faces of the children and teachers. The Reflections entries were turned in several weeks ago and we are looking forward to hearing how our student entries fare at the next level. The students who participated in the Shop and Drop had a great time and we hope to do more events like it soon. There will be a PTA meeting next week. Please check the calendar below to get the details. We would love to see you there to help us plan our upcoming events.

Reflections Arts Program returns to Lake Louise

The Reflections Program is a National PTA and a Washington State PTA cultural arts competition. The purpose for this program is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works, created around a specific theme. This year's theme is "Wow!"

Our students did a great job! Four of the Visual Art entries will go on to be judged at the Council Level.

One Musical Composition entry, "Grand Theme" by Afton Dooley, will also move to the next level of Judging.
